What I collect, why, and what you can do about it.
Sunburst Studio LLC ("Sunburst Studio," "I," "me," or "my") is a Michigan limited liability company owned and operated by Trenton Moore in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This policy explains what information I collect when you visit this website or work with me, why I collect it, and what control you have over it.
I collect only what I need to run the site and respond to you.
I do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided me information, contact me and I will delete it.
I do not use your information to make automated decisions about you, and I do not build advertising profiles.
I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. I never have and I do not intend to.
I do share data with a small number of service providers who help run the business, such as website hosting, analytics, email delivery, and payment processing. They receive only what they need to do their job and are contractually required to protect it. Payment card details are handled entirely by the payment processor and never reach me.
I may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
Enquiries and project correspondence are kept for as long as needed to provide the service and for a reasonable period afterwards for business and tax records. Analytics data is retained on a rolling basis. If you ask me to delete your information and I am not legally required to keep it, I will.
I take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to protect your information from unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss. That said, no transmission over the internet is completely secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use your own judgement about what you send over email.
This site may use cookies to remember preferences and to measure traffic. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking them may affect how parts of the site work. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, I honour it where the tools I use support it.

Residents of certain states and countries, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act and the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation, may have additional rights such as data portability and the right to object to certain processing. I extend these rights to everyone who asks, and I will not treat you differently for exercising them.

This site links to websites I have built for clients and to third-party services. I am not responsible for their privacy practices, and I would encourage you to read their policies before sharing information with them.
I may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will always show the current version, and significant changes will be flagged on the site. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
